Bradley Cooper teams up with Louis Vuitton once again to star in a new campaign spotlighting the revamped and elegant Tambour watch.

The Oscar-nominated actor and filmmaker, who is set to appear in the Leonard Bernstein biographical film “Maestro,” of which he is also the director, was captured by photographer Mario Sorrenti at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, arms crossed and contemplative.

An accompanying film, directed by Damien Chazelle, the director of “La La Land,” unfolds a narrative in which he awaits a mysterious woman, silhouetted against the museum’s majestic mechanical clock. “A true homage to the connection that time brings,” Vuitton explained in a statement exclusively shared with WWD.

The new campaign will be globally launched in print magazines, including Esquire in the United States, next Tuesday, and is scheduled to appear on Vuitton’s social and digital platforms starting from September 1st.

Cooper became Vuitton’s dedicated brand ambassador for watches in September 2022, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the Tambour. This was the first major initiative by Jean Arnault since taking the helm of the brand as the director of marketing and product development for watches the previous year.

“The goal isn’t to put a watch on everyone’s wrist. It’s to ensure that our historical collectors, our brand enthusiasts, can recognize themselves in an entry-level high-end timepiece,” Jean Arnault told WWD last month.
