Set in the British Isles, Burberry’s new campaign promises to transport us to the Scottish winter alongside creative director Daniel Lee.
Burberry presents its exciting new campaign for Winter 2023, creatively directed by Daniel Lee and featuring the acclaimed photography and filmmaking of Tyrone Lebon. On this occasion, the luxury fashion brand takes us to the breathtaking British Isles, specifically the beautiful Isle of Skye in Scotland and the iconic Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland.
The campaign is characterized by a series of outdoor portraits, making use of the wild and open landscapes of the Isle of Skye, as well as the ancient beauty of the Giant’s Causeway. Each image reflects the essence and spirit of the winter season, with the wardrobe presented as protective, invigorating, and warm.
Among the standout pieces are the classic trench coats and rubber boots, perfect for braving the elements with style and functionality. Field jackets and blankets add a dose of comfort and coziness to the ensembles. Additionally, diamond, rose, and duck patterned sweaters bring a playful and cheerful touch to the collection. Even Burberry’s iconic check is reinvented with a palette of vibrant and joyful colors.

The campaign also introduces exciting design innovations. The Equestrian Knight, one of the brand’s most recognizable symbols, undergoes a renewal. A new house color, Knight Blue, emerges as a bright and daring option, bringing freshness to winter outfits. Furthermore, the Knight bag is introduced as an elegant and sophisticated accessory that perfectly complements the season’s looks.
The cast selected for the campaign is diverse and talented. With the participation of Angus Hinnegan, Anugraha Natarajan, Ayrton Maberley Dick, Emma-Rose Higgins, Faye Wei Wei, Iris O’Carroll, Jake Hodder, Jean Campbell, Kesewa Aboah, Kit Butler, Leon Miles, Mawena Takpa, Nicci Luijkx, Paduey Luak, Sora Chol, Tunii Obembe, and Zhuo Chen, the campaign successfully captures the authenticity and vibrant energy of these individuals amidst the stunning British landscapes.
