V from BTS and Uma Thurman brought their iconic presence to CELINE’s show, highlighting refined silhouettes and effortless modern tailoring.

If you’re the type to gather friends for a fashion watch party, 2025 has been your year. From seismic creative shifts to unexpected design turns, the industry’s most influential houses are entering new chapters—and CELINE is clearly among them. Just days ago in Paris, the house unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, continuing the dialogue that began with Michael Rider’s debut last July.

This latest collection isn’t a complete reinvention, but rather a seamless sequel. Rider—who succeeded Hedi Slimane earlier this year—built upon his inaugural presentation with a sophisticated narrative of seasonal transition. The garments danced between the richness of autumn and the promise of spring, where vivid tones were anchored by blacks and neutrals in precise compositions.

Staying true to CELINE’s DNA, Rider blended 1970s nostalgia with contemporary minimalism. Oversized masculine tailoring, crisp silhouettes, and tactile fabrics shaped his interpretation of timeless luxury. Less spectacle, more substance.

In the front row, V of BTS (Kim Taehyung) stole attention with a double-breasted camel overcoat, crisp shirt and subtly printed tie—a quintessential modern gentleman look that captured the essence of tailored ease. His elegance was balanced by the serene presence of Uma Thurman, who arrived in a fluid black ensemble composed of wide-leg trousers and a sculptural cape. Her minimalist accessories and supple leather handbag anchored the look in CELINE’s signature quiet luxury.

The two posed both together and separately, drawing a contrast that perfectly illustrated the brand’s aesthetic duality: masculine structure and feminine softness, formal restraint and relaxed polish. As Rider continues to shape CELINE’s future, this SS26 show confirms his ability to merge house heritage with a vision that resonates deeply with today’s discerning audience.
