CHANEL reinterprets classic elegance in its Autumn-Winter 2025 collection, playing with exaggerated proportions, ethereal transparencies, and innovative sculptural details.
CHANEL presents its Prêt-à-Porter Autumn-Winter 2025/26 collection with an innovative focus on scale and illusion. Beneath the glass ceiling of the Grand Palais, the runway was transformed with a striking installation by Willo Perron: a giant black bow floating in space, reflecting the collection’s playful approach to proportions.

Classic silhouettes were reinvented with exaggerated lengths and unexpected layering. A shrunken tweed jacket contrasted with endlessly flowing trousers, while an oversized shirt cascaded down to the ankles. Bows and pearls, iconic elements of the house, were magnified to surprising scales, embellishing everything from necklaces to quilted coats.
Transparencies brought lightness to the structure, with layers of illusion tulle softening tweed suits. Materials were also reimagined: chiffon took on the appearance of denim, and silk was transformed into tweed. Accessories maintained a theatrical spirit, featuring heels sculpted from pearls and handbags designed to resemble oversized necklaces.
With this collection, CHANEL balances craftsmanship with a bold artistic vision. Ethereal volumes, sculptural details, and unexpected textures redefine the maison’s elegance, exploring fashion as a form of movement and fantasy.
