Chanel celebrates 110 years of Haute Couture with a Spring-Summer 2025 collection that explores the evolution of colour and craftsmanship.
Chanel unveiled its Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 collection at the Grand Palais Nave, where the double-C shaped runway symbolised infinity. Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s mastery of colour, the collection traced a chromatic journey throughout the day, from the soft hues of dawn to the rich shades of dusk.

The first designs featured a silk crêpe pyjama set in delicate sunrise tones and a sun-yellow tweed suit. As the palette evolved, striking contrasts emerged, such as an orange-pink coat layered over a purple jacquard dress. Craftsmanship shone through in the details: floral-embroidered tweeds, crystal buttons, and linings in unexpected shades like royal blue and bronze.

Chiffon, satin, and embroidered lace dresses conveyed fluidity and lightness, while trompe-l’œil techniques played with optical illusion. Accessories like velvet belts and pastel-hued shoes enhanced the visual narrative.
Marking 110 years of Haute Couture, Chanel reaffirms its legacy with innovation, precision, and a profound love of colour. As Gabrielle Chanel once said: “Comfort has shapes. Love has colours.”
