Moncler brings together Cher, JENNIE and Grace Jones for Re/Icons, its new luxury collection that revives the brand’s most iconic jackets and celebrates the pioneering spirit of three international icons.
Moncler once again proves that fashion can become a powerful form of personal expression. The Italian fashion house has unveiled its new Re/Icons collection, bringing together three of the most influential women in music and contemporary culture: Cher, JENNIE and Grace Jones. Three generations, three completely different styles and one shared philosophy: challenging conventions and forging a unique identity.
The new Moncler Re/Icons campaign, photographed and directed by Gabriel Moses, brings together three major icons of music and fashion in a cinematic production combining striking portraits, historical references and some of the Italian brand’s most emblematic pieces. The collection celebrates Moncler’s pioneering spirit, connecting its mountaineering heritage with three women who have revolutionised popular culture: Cher, JENNIE and Grace Jones.

The inspiration behind this latest campaign comes from archival photographs of Lionel Terray, the legendary French mountaineer who collaborated with the brand during its early years. His adventurous spirit becomes the central theme of a campaign that takes the concept of exploration beyond the mountains and into the world of creativity and personal expression.
One of the campaign’s leading figures is Cher, whose career has shaped the music and film industries for decades. An Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and Golden Globe winner, the artist remains an international icon thanks to her ability to reinvent herself and challenge conventions. For this collaboration, she wears the Moncler Re/Icons Himalaya jacket in white and the Verone jacket in black, paired with a striking yellow scarf inspired by the Bob Mackie dress she wore during The Cher Show. In the campaign film, the singer playfully uses the accessory to recreate one of her most memorable stage moments.

The third star of the campaign is Grace Jones, an essential figure in understanding the relationship between fashion, music and the avant-garde. Her unmistakable aesthetic and ability to challenge traditional norms have made her a source of inspiration for generations of artists. This time, Jones wears the Karakorum jacket in deep purple, surrounded by figures recreating her signature dramatic make-up. The composition recalls her work with photographer and director Jean-Paul Goude, the creative force behind some of her most iconic images.

Through these three personalities, Moncler Re/Icons pays tribute to creativity, individuality and freedom of expression. Gabriel Moses’s photographs highlight each artist’s unique identity through theatrical compositions in which the stars maintain their distinctive presence even when surrounded by crowds, proving that true style goes far beyond trends.
