Christina Aguilera addresses criticism about her weight and Ozempic rumors, highlighting her evolution towards greater self-confidence.

Christina Aguilera has openly discussed her body image following accusations that she is using Ozempic to lose weight. The ‘Genie In A Bottle’ singer commented on her experience with constant scrutiny of her body during an interview with Glamour, published on August 15.

In the interview, Aguilera shared how she has reached a point where she no longer cares about others’ opinions. “Now I have a maturity where I just don’t care about your opinion. I’m not going to take it into account,” she said. Aguilera explained that, when she was younger, the media often focused on her weight, which led her self-esteem to be based on “how thin she was.”

“Adolescence is very different from your 20s,” she said. “I started changing, and that was not acceptable because it seemed like ‘she was getting more robust.’” Her experience as a mother has also influenced her shift in mindset, as she didn’t want her children to go through what she did. Aguilera has two children: Summer Rain, age nine, and Max Liron, age 16.

“People are always looking for something to talk about,” Aguilera said. “I’m not using Ozempic or any other weight loss medication. My focus is on my overall well-being and being a good role model for my children.”

Recently, rumors have surfaced about the use of Ozempic, a type 2 diabetes medication known for its weight loss side effects. However, Aguilera has emphasized that she has learned not to be affected by the criticism.
