Jin and RM surprised fans at Coldplay’s latest concert in Korea, sparking excitement about BTS’s return.

Jin, whose real name is Kim Seok-jin, once again shared the stage with Coldplay during the highly anticipated concert at Goyang Stadium last Friday, 25th April. The performer of ‘The Astronaut’ shone alongside Chris Martin, creating one of the most moving moments of the night.

But the surprise did not end there: RM, the leader of BTS, was also in the audience, marking a small yet significant reunion of the group. Their presence sent the crowd into a frenzy, with many quickly speculating about the long-awaited comeback of the band following their mandatory military service.

“BTS will be back soon,” Jin announced enthusiastically, prompting a rapturous ovation. Chris Martin, meanwhile, joked: “Everyone is watching our show because BTS aren’t available right now.”

It is worth noting that RM was granted special leave to attend the concert. Meanwhile, Suga, V, Jungkook, and Jimin continue to fulfil their military duties. Jin was the first member to be discharged, in June 2024, followed by J-Hope, who completed his service on 15th April 2024.

The evening left a promise in the air: the eagerly awaited return of BTS is drawing ever closer.
