Damiano David announces ‘Talk to Me’, his explosive new single with Tyla and Nile Rodgers

The Måneskin frontman unveils an unexpected collaboration with Tyla and Nile Rodgers, set to become one of his biggest hits.

Damiano David is building anticipation ahead of his world tour with an announcement that has set social media alight: this Friday, 12 September, he will release ‘Talk to Me’, an unexpected yet powerful collaboration with Tyla and Nile Rodgers. The track fuses three distinct artistic universes: Damiano’s emotional intensity, the Grammy-winning South African singer’s magnetic vocals, and Rodgers’ legendary guitar groove, a defining force in the history of funk and pop.

“I felt a new wave of inspiration while preparing for the tour, and ‘Talk to Me’ came about naturally,” the Italian artist explained on Instagram. “I always imagined this song as a duet, and since I’d been listening to ‘Water’ a lot lately, I knew Tyla was perfect. When Nile Rodgers wanted to add his guitar, I realised we had something special.”

This release follows the global success of his debut album Funny Little Fears, which has already surpassed 800 million streams and cemented Damiano as one of the most magnetic voices of his generation. Nominated for the 2025 MTV VMAs and the MTV PUSH Award for ‘Next Summer’, David will embark on a world tour this autumn with more than 30 dates across five continents.

In Spain, fans will be able to experience Damiano live on 21 September at Barcelona’s Sant Jordi Club and on 22 September at Madrid’s Movistar Arena. If Funny Little Fears was his solo calling card, Talk to Me could mark the beginning of his definitive breakthrough on the global charts.
