Gucci unveils its bold new era with ‘The Tiger’, a Hollywood-level premiere led by global stars and provocative fashion.
Gucci doesn’t walk the runway anymore — it screens. In a striking and deliberate move, Demna Gvasalia has made his creative debut at the helm of the Italian fashion house not with a traditional show, but with a cinematic premiere. The Tiger, a short film that marks the beginning of his tenure, was unveiled at a star-studded screening inside the iconic Palazzo Mezzanotte during Milan Fashion Week.
Demi Moore, the film’s lead, commanded the spotlight in a golden sequin gown featuring high neck, long sleeves and intricate rose and chain embroidery. Gwyneth Paltrow arrived in a full GG monogram look from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, pairing a pussy-bow blouse with a flared midi skirt and matching high boots.

Joining them were South Korean actress Park Gyu-young, Chinese model Weilong Song and British model Kit Butler — all embodying the global and daring vision Gvasalia is injecting into Gucci.
Just 24 hours earlier, Gucci had dropped its new collection online and across socials: ‘La Famiglia’, a series of 38 looks captured by acclaimed American photographer Catherine Opie in a faux domestic setting. The imagery sets the tone for what’s to come: the house’s signature codes colliding with Gvasalia’s pop culture universe — from GG monograms and crocodile leather to oversized tailoring, ostrich-feather trims and dramatic silhouettes.
Gucci has changed the game. And the world’s watching — in widescreen.
