Dior and A24 announce a two-year collaboration connecting fashion, film and theatre, with Jonathan Anderson and the historic Cherry Lane Theatre taking centre stage.
Dior and A24 have turned their shared affinity for culture and contemporary creativity into a long-term partnership. The French maison and the American entertainment company have announced a two-year creative collaboration spanning film, theatre, live performances and a range of initiatives designed to support both established figures and a new generation of talent.

One of the main settings for this partnership will be New York’s Cherry Lane Theatre, where Dior will serve as premier partner. The historic venue will become a meeting point for designers, actors, filmmakers, playwrights and artists from a variety of creative disciplines.
The collaboration will begin there with a celebration marking the first anniversary of the theatre’s reopening under A24. To inaugurate this new chapter, the venue will present Both Ends, a special one-off performance by Justin Vivian Bond, produced and directed by Zack Winokur.

The performance takes inspiration from Edna St. Vincent Millay, the poet, playwright and one of Cherry Lane’s founders, establishing a connection between the theatre’s history and the contemporary creative vision Dior and A24 intend to develop over the next two years.
Fashion will play a fundamental role from the very beginning. Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior’s Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture collections, has designed costumes specifically for the performance.

One of the most intriguing elements will be an archival piece by Paul Poiret, which Bond will wear during the show. The choice creates several historical connections: Millay wore designs by the French couturier, while his work was also among the references Anderson explored for his Dior Winter 2026 collection.
The project also confirms the extent to which Jonathan Anderson intends to expand the Dior universe beyond the runway. From his creative position at the house, the designer continues to explore the relationship between fashion, film, art and culture, using clothing as a narrative tool rather than simply as a product.
However, the Dior and A24 partnership will not be limited to a single performance. The two companies are preparing a curated programme of projects that will unfold both on screen and through live experiences. The aim is to create opportunities for artists and audiences to connect while supporting creatives at different stages of their careers.
Education will also play an important role. The collaboration will include initiatives aimed at students, giving young people the opportunity to engage with both the creative processes and practical aspects of filmmaking and theatre production.

The choice of A24 as a partner is particularly significant. Founded in New York in 2012, the company has built its identity around projects with a distinctive auteur-driven sensibility, becoming one of the most recognisable names in contemporary independent cinema.
The Cherry Lane Theatre also brings considerable historical significance to the partnership. A24 acquired the venue in 2023 and reopened it in September 2025. Founded in the 1920s, it is considered New York City’s oldest Off-Broadway theatre and has welcomed numerous major figures from American culture throughout its history.
Names including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Eugene O’Neill, Lorraine Hansberry, Kevin Bacon, Tony Curtis and Amiri Baraka have all been associated with its stage, reinforcing Cherry Lane’s reputation as a platform for emerging voices and experimental work.
