Dior launches an 80s-inspired golf capsule collection, featuring preppy garments and an exclusive leather golf bag embossed with its logo.
Dior has decided to enter the world of golf with a new capsule collection set to launch on April 3, alongside its pre-fall menswear collection. Designed by Kim Jones, artistic director of men’s collections, this line draws inspiration from the Paris and New York aesthetics of the early ’80s, blending classic style with modern touches.

The collection includes items such as polo shirts, V-neck sweaters, Bermuda shorts, and pleated trousers, as well as soft checkered jackets and blazers, maintaining a preppy vibe. However, more urban elements are also incorporated, such as velour tracksuits, windbreakers with reflective stripes, and argyle sweaters featuring the brand’s iconic ‘CD Diamond’ logo. A standout feature is the black leather golf bag embossed with the logo, alongside new two-tone versions of the ‘Saddle’ bags, ‘Hit the Road,’ and backpack.

Additionally, the collection presents the ‘B33’ sneakers with a checkered design and a fringed tongue, inspired by traditional golf shoes. With the golf market booming, especially among younger generations, Dior joins other luxury brands like Louis Vuitton to solidify its presence in this sector.
