Dior presents its Spring-Summer 2025 collection, where Maria Grazia Chiuri fuses art, female empowerment, and fashion innovation.

Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled her Spring-Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection for Dior, a proposal that reinterprets fashion history while celebrating female strength and empowerment. Inspired by the house’s historical archives, the designer brings iconic pieces to life, such as the Amazone dress, originally designed by Christian Dior in 1951-1952. This garment, a symbol of autonomy and bravery, resurfaces in a modern context as a declaration of female independence.

The show, which featured celebrities like Rosamund Pike, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Natalia Vodianova, seamlessly merged the essence of art with the functionality of fashion. Chiuri chose a minimalist palette of black and white, highlighting graphic contrasts that evoke the Miss Dior logo. Pieces such as structured white shirts paired with black skirts highlighted a sophisticated duality, while touches of red on bomber jackets added dynamism.

Additionally, in a nod to the Paris 2024 Olympics, Chiuri collaborated with artist SAGG Napoli, who incorporated archery into the runway, emphasizing the connection between body, mind, and fashion. The collection reaffirms that fashion can be a powerful tool for expression and strength for women.
