Elon Musk makes another change to his social media platform.
The 52-year-old Twitter owner confirmed that the company’s name and logo will change simply to “X” as of Sunday, June 23rd.
“http://X.com now redirects to https://twitter.com/. The interim X logo will go live later today,” he wrote on the platform, before teasing the new logo in a short video.
“And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, to all the birds,” he also tweeted.
Later in a Twitter space, he said that the Twitter logo would be changed: “It should have been done a long time ago, sorry it took so long,” he said.
He also seems to be threatening Mark Zuckerberg with a lawsuit for the advent of Threads.
