Emily Cooper moves to Rome and Venice in Season 5 of ‘Emily in Paris’, premiering on Netflix on 18 December.

The story of Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, takes on a new setting. The fifth season of ‘Emily in Paris’ transports the heroine from Parisian rooftops to the landscapes of Rome and the canals of Venice, in a plot that blends love, work, and the eternal quest for personal balance.

“This season is a tale of two cities. Rome and Paris. Emily takes love and life to the next level,” teased creator Darren Star.

The main cast returns with Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount and Eugenio Franceschini, joined this season by Academy Award nominee Minnie Driver as Princess Jane. Other new additions include Bryan Greenberg and Michèle Laroque.

Season four closed with Emily settling into a Roman apartment, sparking a romantic connection with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), while Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) confessed his feelings, setting up a love triangle brimming with tension and unexpected twists.

The global success of the series remains unshaken: the previous season debuted at number one in Netflix’s Global Top 10 with nearly 20 million views in just four days. Collins hinted we will see a “more balanced and fulfilled Emily, able to smile unconditionally.”

Amid Roman ruins, gondola rides, and Parisian entanglements, Season 5 promises a journey full of romance, style, and Netflix-made drama.
