Bella Hadid stars in Chopard’s new “Sculpted by Light” campaign, highlighting the minimalist and modern elegance of the iconic collection.
Chopard has taken its Ice Cube collection into “a new era” with a campaign featuring Bella Hadid. Photographed by British fashion director and photographer Charlotte Wales, the campaign, titled Sculpted by Light, uses light in an innovative way to emphasize the minimalist aesthetic and geometry of the contemporary design of the Ice Cube collection. According to Chopard, this collection reflects the principles of the Bauhaus movement, which emphasizes simplicity and functionality.

The campaign, launched this Thursday, showcases Hadid wearing ethical jewelry made of 18k rose gold and diamonds from the Ice Cube collection, set against an abstract urban backdrop. “The night reveals the incandescence of the jewelry in a fascinating juxtaposition of two icons. Without shadow, there is no light: this is the central theme of the ‘Sculpted by Light’ campaign,” Chopard stated.

Caroline Scheufele, co-president and artistic director of Chopard, introduced the Ice Cube motif in 1999 with a watch that defied the typical ostentation of the time, opting for pure, streamlined shapes. Over the years, the collection has evolved in an ongoing dialogue with light, and with this new Ice Cube capsule, Chopard continues to explore the harmony around the cubic form, creating unique pieces that evoke a modern sensuality.
