GapStudio, Gap’s new premium line, debuts under the leadership of Zac Posen, blending luxury tailoring with the brand’s iconic textiles.
Gap is making a move into the world of premium fashion with the launch of GapStudio, a new line that merges high-end craftsmanship with the brand’s classic essence. Zac Posen, Executive Vice President and Creative Director of Gap Inc., spearheads this initiative with Collection 01, a selection of garments that reimagine iconic materials like denim and poplin.

“Within Gap’s New York headquarters, we have built a creative studio where I have designed red carpet looks and where we will continue collaborating with visionary talents in the future,” Posen shared.
The collection features key pieces such as a structured denim trench coat ($248), a double-breasted blazer ($178), and a maxi poplin shirtdress ($158), alongside classic colors like navy and khaki, as well as a vibrant ‘pop-orange.’
With this launch, Gap aims to establish itself in the accessible luxury segment without losing its identity. “Now, with GapStudio, we’re taking that legacy to the next level,” stated Mark Breitbard, CEO of Gap.
Collection 01 will be available starting this Thursday in select U.S. stores, international markets, and online, with prices ranging from $78 to $248.
