Gentle Monster opens 2026 with ‘Bouquet’, a collection of sunglasses and optical frames that reinforces its status as one of the most experimental brands on the global stage. The launch is accompanied by a surreal campaign film, co-directed by FKA twigs and photographer Jordan Hemingway, where fashion, art and movement intertwine in a deeply sensorial visual language.

Inspired by the organic architecture of plant stems and buds, the collection translates botanical forms into sculptural frames defined by loops, knots and enveloping structures. The designs explore the tension between delicacy and expressive power, with a standout jewel-like model adorned with vibrant embellishments that balances aesthetic softness with a strong performative character. Each piece feels conceived not only to frame the face, but to communicate identity and presence.

The campaign film, set to an unreleased track by FKA twigs, narrates the rhythmic metamorphosis of a bud opening into full bloom. The imagery functions as a direct metaphor for Gentle Monster’s DNA: growth, transformation and the constant breaking of creative boundaries. Twigs is not positioned as a passive muse, but as a co-author of the conceptual universe, reinforcing her role as one of the most influential figures in contemporary hybrid art.

Beyond the product itself, ‘Bouquet’ extends into physical space through immersive pop-up installations across six international cities. Each location recreates the moment of full bloom, featuring monumental floral sculptures, intense textures and a central chromed sculpture acting as a visual axis. The Gentle Monster ‘Bouquet’ 2026 collection will be available from 16 January 2026 at 11:00 a.m. EST / 8:00 a.m. PST, both online and in selected physical stores.
