Giambattista Valli Wins Bridal Award in Barcelona

Giambattista Valli was honoured at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week for his transformative impact on international bridal fashion.

The renowned designer Giambattista Valli was awarded the 2025 Industry Impact Award during the closing ceremony of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. This recognition celebrates his influence on the bridal world, highlighting his ability to redefine standards of creativity, innovation, and leadership within the sector.

The award was presented during a special gala where the winners of the Barcelona Bridal & Fashion Awards were announced, selected by a jury of 21 experts. Model Estelle Girard accepted the award on Valli’s behalf, with the designer expressing his gratitude via a video message.

Valli, a Rome-born designer based in Paris, was also the guest of honour at the 2024 edition of BBFW. His showcase stood out for its artistic approach to bridalwear, eschewing fleeting trends in favour of timeless, dreamlike moments. His clientele includes celebrities such as Amal Clooney and Charlotte Casiraghi.

During the event, he unveiled his new bridal collection, “The Love Collection No. 4,” featuring twelve designs inspired by each month of the year. Textures such as macramé, embroidered tulle, and cloqué silk dominated the collection, celebrating romanticism and contemporary sophistication.
