Jacob Elordi returns to the big screen starring in Wuthering Heights, after being approached by Emerald Fennell for the role of Heathcliff.

Jacob Elordi, known for his role in The Kissing Booth, was on the verge of stepping away from acting for a while, but everything changed when director ‘Emerald Fennell‘ contacted him to star in her adaptation of the iconic novel Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. In a recent interview, Elordi shared that he had intended to take a break from his career, but Fennell’s message changed his mind. “You can’t escape that text,” said the actor, referring to the undeniable appeal of playing Heathcliff.

Elordi spared no praise for his co-star Margot Robbie, who plays Catherine Earnshaw, highlighting her talent and energy on set. The film promises to be one of the most anticipated of the year, not only because of its tragic love story but also due to the dynamic between Elordi and Robbie, both considered among the most talented actors of their generation.
