Gigi Hadid shines as she inaugurates Jacquemus’s dazzling runway show “LES SCULPTURES,” inspired by the Swiss sculptor Alberto Giacometti.
Once again, Simon Porte Jacquemus‘s runway shows stand out as the highlight of the fashion month, no matter when they occur, and today’s “LES SCULPTURES” spectacle was no exception. Inspired seemingly by the works of Swiss sculptor Alberto Giacometti, the presentation took place at La Fondation Maeght, France’s first independent art foundation, where models strolled among the distinctive sculptures of the Swiss artist.
Gigi Hadid had the honour of opening the show, with model Emily Ratajkowski also making a special appearance. Among the guests were renowned personalities such as Julia Roberts and Kylie Jenner. Relaxed yet stylish silhouettes graced the runway, interspersed with delicate and sheer looks, as well as vibrant prints featuring cinched waists, flowing fabrics, and strapped footwear.
The display seemed to follow Jacquemus’s distinctive colour palette, blending soft beige and yellow tones with bold blacks and reds, incorporating textures like furry animal prints, sleek snakeskin, and textured leather.
