Joining a star-studded lineup, Jennifer Lawrence arrived in France over the weekend for the Cannes Film Festival.
The actress is in town to attend screenings of ‘Bread and Roses’, a documentary Lawrence produced about the experiences of women in Afghanistan living under the Taliban regime. Lawrence attended both a daytime photoshoot and an evening premiere of the documentary, and her elegant attire exemplified all the sparkle and glamour of the festival. The star sported two stunning looks designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri of Christian Dior. (Of course, Lawrence has long been a Dior girl).
For her daytime look, Lawrence wore a gray knit dress from Dior’s Spring 2023 haute couture collection. With a slightly beachy feel (appropriate for the French Riviera), the full design with a plunging back neckline gave a glimpse of a bra and satin panties worn underneath. It was an effortless and slightly unexpected choice.
For the premiere, she slipped into an old Hollywood-style dress in one of her signature colors, red. This latest silhouette featured a fitted waist and a ruffled neckline, along with a long stole and a sweeping train. Her sparkling jewels completed the ensemble: her zigzag-shaped diamond necklace, and her stunning engagement ring! They added that magical touch of a movie star.
