Jeremy Allen White Eyed to Star in Bruce Springsteen Biopic, Focused on the Making of His 1982 Album ‘Nebraska’.

Jeremy Allen White is in early discussions to portray Bruce Springsteen in a film centered around the creation of his 1982 album ‘Nebraska’. According to Variety, the recently confirmed film will delve into the artist’s creative process during the production of the aforementioned album.

Though nothing has been officially confirmed yet, there are rumors that Scott Cooper is in talks to write and direct the movie. The tentative title of the film is ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere’, and currently, production is being handled by Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein of Gotham Group, with discussions ongoing for A24’s involvement. Additionally, Scott Stuber is on board as a producer following his departure from Netflix.

The film is based on Warren Zanes’ 2023 book, ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska’. It is set to narrate the story of the iconic rocker during the creation of his sixth studio album, which marked a new artistic direction for Springsteen. Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in the series ‘The Bear’, is currently filming the third and fourth seasons of the show in Chicago.
