Jisoo, from Blackpink, stars in Self-Portrait’s pre-fall campaign at a recording studio, showcasing her versatile style.

The renowned London-based fashion brand, Self-Portrait, unveiled its pre-fall campaign on Wednesday featuring Jisoo, a member of the popular K-pop group Blackpink. This time, the South Korean idol posed for the brand in a recording studio in Seoul.

Captured by Yoon Jiyong, Jisoo sported a variety of looks from Self-Portrait’s pre-fall collection: from mini dresses in taffeta, soft denim, and the brand’s iconic Guipure lace, to two-piece knit ensembles and elegant taffeta numbers in red and black. Each was selected by Jisoo on set to showcase the versatility of her chameleon-like character and style.

Han Chong, founder and creative director of Self-Portrait, commented, “What I’ve found working with Jisoo is that she’s a true chameleon and loves to experiment with her wardrobe.” He further added, “We decided to photograph her in a recording studio, a place where she feels at home and comes alive, to capture her in her most authentic form.”

To accompany the campaign’s launch, the brand will host a series of installations and pop-ups, bringing the campaign’s stage to life in Seoul and London. The London pop-up will recreate the ambiance of the recording studio and showcase the latest collection, including pieces selected by Jisoo for the campaign.

Self-Portrait has dressed Jisoo both on and off the stage since 2017. Chong revealed that the singer wore his designs when she released her solo album “ME” last year. This collaboration marks Jisoo’s first project since the launch of her own agency, Blissoo.
