Just days after the rapper voiced his support for Hitler on social media, his clothing brand began selling T-shirts featuring swastikas.
When we thought Kanye West could no longer surprise us, he proved us wrong. Only days after openly expressing his support for Nazism on social media, Ye listed a white T-shirt with a black swastika on the front for sale on the website of his brand, Yeezy. The garment was labelled “HH-01”, a code which, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), stands for “Heil Hitler.” The release was part of a collaboration with Sean John, the clothing brand founded by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is currently in custody at Manhattan Detention Centre, facing charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and prostitution.

The ADL described the sale in an Instagram post as “further proof of Ye’s antisemitism.” In a statement issued last Monday, the organisation emphasised that the swastika was adopted by Hitler as a central symbol of Nazism and condemned its continued use, stating that it “remains a threat and instils fear in victims of antisemitism and white supremacy.” The ADL also denounced the promotion of Ye’s website during last Sunday’s Super Bowl, which amplified his message beyond his already massive digital audience.
Neither Ye’s representatives nor his legal team responded immediately. Additionally, his account on ‘X’ was deactivated on Monday afternoon, while his Instagram profile remained accessible, though the Yeezy post from the previous week had been removed.
The Anti-Defamation League also took the opportunity to promote its ‘Never Is Now‘ event, which will take place in New York on 3 and 4 March and is described as “the world’s largest summit on antisemitism and hate.”
