Katy Perry leads Balenciaga’s campaign for its new Radar and Triple S.2 sneakers, cementing the sporty trend in luxury fashion.

The battle for spring 2026 sneakers has a new contender. Balenciaga, under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli, has unveiled its latest campaign with a clear objective: to dominate the luxury sportswear footwear space. And it does so with the help of a key global pop figure: Katy Perry, who reveals a more athletic and approachable side in this visual proposal.

The campaign introduces two main models that define the brand’s new direction. On one hand, the Radar, a reinterpretation of the slim sneaker trend, featuring a streamlined silhouette, a double-lacing system and a wraparound sole that adds character without sacrificing lightness. On the other, the Triple S.2, an evolution of one of the house’s most iconic designs. This model revisits the oversized aesthetic with a structured and complex sole made up of up to 68 individual components, reinforcing its technical and visual identity.

Beyond design, the campaign builds a narrative centred on wellness and discipline. Katy Perry, seen skipping rope in several of the visuals, has shared her personal perspective: discipline as a form of self-respect and self-love. An idea that aligns with fashion’s current direction, where style is no longer defined purely by aesthetics, but also by attitude and lifestyle.

The visual proposal, photographed by Mark Peckmezian and accompanied by audiovisual pieces directed by Mitch Ryan, also features actress Yao Chen and footballer Hugo Ekitike, reinforcing the campaign’s global and cross-industry appeal.

This launch confirms a clear trend: luxury sneakers continue to evolve into a space where design, functionality and message coexist. In this context, Balenciaga is not just presenting a new product, but a statement of intent for the season.

The new Radar and Triple S.2 sneakers are now available in selected stores and on the brand’s official website.
