Kim Soo Hyun’s public image has taken a severe hit following the circulation of a controversial video and accusations.

The South Korean actor’s reputation continues to deteriorate after recent allegations have come to light. He is facing a wave of criticism not only due to the scandal surrounding his alleged romance but also because of a controversial video that has reignited the controversy.

On 27 March 2025, the family of the late actress Kim Sae Ron shocked the public by holding a press conference where they revealed a private conversation between the two, dated June 2016, when she was just 16 years old. The controversy escalated when the YouTube channel Garo Sero released a video, allegedly sent by Kim Soo Hyun to the actress, showing inappropriate comments made in front of a lingerie shop in France.

Although the actor’s face is not visible in the footage, speculation suggests that he may have attempted to make advances towards Kim Sae Ron while she was still underage. The authenticity of the video remains unverified, but the consequences are already evident: since 13 March, the actor has lost thousands of followers on Instagram, highlighting the negative impact these accusations have had on his digital reputation.
