The global superstar unveiled her new filmed live performance with an immersive event at The Grove alongside choreography, live brass music and exclusive screenings.
Lady Gaga once again blurred the boundaries between music, performance art and cinema with the launch of ‘MAYHEM Requiem’, her new filmed live concert experience presented through an immersive takeover at The Grove in Los Angeles.
The Grammy and Oscar-winning artist turned the iconic shopping destination into a dramatic theatrical setting to celebrate the release of the 67-minute production, which reimagines songs from her latest studio album through a darker and more cinematic lens.

The event began with a special appearance inside the Apple Store before evolving into a large-scale procession towards the AMC theatre located within the complex. The performance featured several of Gaga’s longtime dance collaborators, including Ian McKenzie, Victor Rojas and China Taylor, alongside choreography created by Chris Downey-Asher and SaraAnne Fahey.
An eight-piece brass band accompanied the procession with melancholic New Orleans-inspired jazz reinterpretations of tracks from MAYHEM, transforming the premiere into one of the most visually striking music events currently dominating social media.
Inside the concert film, Lady Gaga performs tracks such as ‘Abracadabra’ and ‘Disease’ surrounded by pianos, synthesisers and immersive staging that reinforces the emotional intensity of the project. The production continues the artist’s exploration of theatrical storytelling, combining live music with highly stylised visual direction.
Gaga also shared full performances of ‘Die With a Smile’ and ‘Killah’ through YouTube, while the complete experience remains exclusively available via Apple TV+. Fans in 15 different cities additionally had the opportunity to attend special one-night-only screenings in AMC cinemas during the official launch.
