Lana Del Rey has gone viral after sharing a heartfelt kiss with her husband, a Louisiana alligator tour guide, during her concert in Cardiff. Southern love, unfiltered.

Lana Del Rey is in love—and she doesn’t care who knows it. During her show in Cardiff, Wales, on 23 June, the singer surprised the audience by kissing her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, a Louisiana swamp tour guide. Wearing a T-shirt, baseball cap, and holding a can of sugar-free Red Bull, Dufrene appeared at the edge of the stage just as Lana was performing Husband of Mine—the emotional ballad she released in April, written especially for him.

The moment was as surreal as it was touching. Clearly moved, Lana shed a few tears after the kiss, telling the crowd they were “good tears.” The scene quickly went viral on social media, where thousands of fans praised the raw emotion and uniqueness of her love story.

The couple first met in 2019 during one of Dufrene’s alligator tours, though they didn’t start dating until May 2024. After reconnecting in Alabama—just before the Hangout Music Festival—they were spotted together several times over the summer and tied the knot that September near the bayou in Des Allemands, where Dufrene runs his excursions.

They now live a quiet Southern life full of backroad drives, camo outfits, and plenty of swampy romance. A story only Lana Del Rey could live… and sing about.
