Lindsay Lohan is a mom! The Parent Trap star revealed through her representatives that she gave birth to a son.
According to PopSugar’s source, Lohan delivered “a beautiful and healthy son named Luai,” which Elite Daily notes is an Arabic name meaning “strong” or “steady,” on July 17. “The family is completely in love,” said the representative.
The news came just a few days after Lohan gave her followers a glimpse of her ocean-themed nursery. All ready for its new inhabitant! In an interview, Lohan elaborated on the inspiration behind the theme. “I feel so at peace by the ocean; I wanted to create a space where my little one and I could share that feeling,” she said. As for the ocean mural, she added, “The planes and the sailboat felt instantly classic, but the almost-rainbow watercolor effect felt really fresh and unexpected. It warms up the space so much, and I’m excited to point out all the cute elements to my baby.”
As they say, the mother is being a mother.
In March 2023, Lohan announced that she and her husband Bader Shammas were expecting a baby, posting a picture of a onesie on Instagram. “We are blessed and excited!” the 37-year-old actress wrote in the caption. She shared her pregnancy journey with her fans and followers, including a serene snapshot from her poolside babymoon. She truly feels at peace by the water!
Lindsay Lohan and Shammas, a financier, began dating in 2018 and announced their engagement in 2021. They secretly married in 2022. Since making their marriage public, Lohan has expressed interest in expanding their family. In an interview with Vogue while promoting her Netflix film Falling for Christmas, Lohan said she’s already considering which family heirlooms she’d like to pass down to her future children. “[Shammas] gave me a Cartier bracelet, and it was our first Christmas together, so that was really special to me,” she said. “It will always be with me, and I’ll pass it down to my daughter when we have kids.”
