LISA stars in Nike Sportswear’s new campaign featuring the historic Moon Shoe, connecting her own beginnings with the brand’s experimental spirit.
LISA continues to strengthen her influence beyond music. The BLACKPINK member stars in Nike Sportswear’s Autumn 2026 campaign, which brings back the historic Nike Moon Shoe and uses lunar imagery to connect the origins of one of the company’s most iconic trainers with the Thai artist’s own journey.
LISA’s involvement is no coincidence. Her story has been shaped by an evolution that began at a very young age. Lalisa Manobal was just 14 when she passed an audition for YG Entertainment and left Thailand to begin training as a K-pop artist. In 2016, she made her debut with BLACKPINK alongside JISOO, JENNIE and ROSÉ, beginning a career that would ultimately turn her into a global star.
Since then, BLACKPINK has achieved several major milestones for Korean pop. Born Pink became the first album by a female K-pop group to simultaneously reach number one on the US Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart. In 2023, the group also became the first Korean act to headline Coachella.

At the same time, LISA has developed her solo career and expanded her presence into other creative fields. In 2025, she made her acting debut in the third season of The White Lotus, playing Mook, a health mentor at the fictional resort where the story unfolds.
Her relationship with Nike also has a personal dimension. When the company announced its long-term partnership with the artist in January 2026, LISA recalled how, during her trainee years, she practically lived in tracksuits, oversized T-shirts and trainers that allowed her to dance for hours.
One of her first major treats was a pair of Nike Dunk Highs. The singer explained that she saved part of her allowance to buy them and wore them during training, making the purchase one of her earliest significant memories connected to the brand. Now, years later, she has gone from training in Nike trainers to becoming one of the company’s international faces.
For the new campaign, LISA’s personal story meets that of the Moon Shoe, one of Nike’s earliest experiments. The original concept emerged from tests carried out by the company’s co-founder Bill Bowerman, embodying from the very beginning the brand’s obsession with experimentation and the continuous refinement of athletic footwear.
Nike takes that connection quite literally all the way to the Moon. The campaign images show LISA wearing the new Moon Shoe as she reaches the lunar surface, leaves a trainer footprint behind, plants a Nike Sportswear flag and poses on a podium in the middle of the lunar landscape.
