Loewe brings its immersive exhibition ‘Crafted World’ to Tokyo, celebrating 179 years of history, design, art, and craftsmanship.

Loewe will bring its acclaimed immersive exhibition ‘Crafted World’ to Tokyo this spring, specifically to the vibrant Harajuku district. This exhibition, which debuted in Shanghai in March 2024, celebrates the 179-year history of the Spanish luxury house through a journey of its artistic and cultural evolution.

Considered Loewe’s first major exhibition, ‘Crafted World’ combines art, design, and fashion, highlighting the work of the artisans who make its collections possible. Visitors will be able to enjoy unique artifacts, runway images, and interactive spaces that reflect Loewe’s most iconic collaborations, including those with Studio Ghibli and the Suna Fujita pottery workshop in Kyoto.

In its Tokyo edition, new works and projects focused on Loewe’s cultural connections with Japan will be featured, such as a documentary about the Ōnishi family, known for making ceremonial teapots for over 400 years, as well as pieces from the finalists of the Loewe Craft Prize.

The exhibition will be open to the public from March 29 to May 11, 2025, with free entry by reservation. ‘Crafted World’ promises to take visitors on a journey that blends tradition, modernity, and exceptional craftsmanship.
