Longines celebrates the Year of the Snake with a limited edition of the Conquest Heritage, a watch brimming with symbolism.

In honour of the upcoming Year of the Wood Snake, which begins in 2025 according to the lunar calendar, Longines has unveiled an exclusive limited edition of its iconic Conquest Heritage model.

The collaboration with renowned Chinese artist Wu Jian’an brings the design of this unique piece to life. On the case back, an artistic depiction of a mystical snake holding a Lingzhi mushroom in its mouth takes centre stage—a symbol of immortality and the continuous flow of time. This detail draws inspiration from the Chinese legend of the Theft of the Immortal Herb, a tale associated with the famous Legend of the White Snake.

The front of the watch features a dazzling red gradient dial, evoking the auspicious tones of the celebration. The yellow gold-plated hands and markers add an elegant contrast to the dial’s design. Inside, it houses the calibre L888.5, offering a 72-hour power reserve.

Limited to 2,025 pieces, this special edition will soon be available for $3,150 USD, establishing itself as a sophisticated and culturally meaningful tribute to the spirit of the new year.
