Lorenzo Serafini makes his debut at Alberta Ferretti Autumn 2025 with ‘Progressive Romantics,’ a collection that celebrates femininity and modernity.
The latest Alberta Ferretti show, presented by Lorenzo Serafini, dazzled with the ‘Progressive Romantics’ collection at the iconic Palazzo Donizetti. The runway was filled with ethereal chiffon dresses adorned with delicate petal motifs, reflecting a fresh and sophisticated aesthetic. Serafini, who was appointed Ferretti’s successor in October, pays tribute to the founder by honouring her courage in encouraging women to embrace their femininity without fear.

The collection featured reimagined tailored suits, striking capes and coats, complemented by voluminous chiffon skirts and deconstructed cashmere blazers. Flowing silhouettes and the lightness of the garments showcased a modern approach to sensuality and comfort. A white column dress, embellished with jet embroidery in a floral motif, stood out for its contemporary elegance.
The show’s atmosphere was warm and emotional, culminating in an affectionate embrace between Serafini and Ferretti. This debut not only marks a new era for the brand but also reaffirms Ferretti’s legacy, blending tradition and modernity in a celebration of female empowerment. The collection promises to resonate with women seeking fashion that reflects their true essence.
