Louis Vuitton unveils “Le Damier de Louis Vuitton,” a new high jewelry collection featuring Ana de Armas.
Louis Vuitton has elevated its iconic Damier motif to a new level with the launch of “Le Damier de Louis Vuitton,” an exclusive high jewelry line. Under the artistic direction of Francesca Amfitheatrof, this collection transforms the classic checkered pattern into a series of precious pieces that combine gold and diamonds, reflecting not only the elegance of the stones but also the distinctive pattern.
Ana de Armas, the brand’s ambassador since June 2023, stars in the campaign for this new line. Photographed by Ethan James Green, the actress is seen wearing the new pieces while dressed in an elegant sleeveless outfit.
The Damier motif, introduced in 1888 to distinguish Louis Vuitton trunks from those of competitors, is reinvented in this collection with an alternating pattern of gold and diamond squares, maintaining its graphic essence but with a modern and luxurious twist.
Available from October 18 at select stores, “Le Damier de Louis Vuitton” includes rings, bracelets, pendants, and earrings, with prices ranging from €4,400 to €31,000.
