LVMH Métiers d’Excellence and Thélios launch the third edition of the ‘Maestri d’Eccellenza’ award to recognise and support Italian craftsmanship.

LVMH Métiers d’Excellence and Thélios have announced the third edition of the ‘Maestri d’Eccellenza’ award, a competition celebrating excellence in Italian craftsmanship. This initiative, which in previous editions featured the participation of Fendi and Loro Piana, aims to recognise three master artisans in the categories of experts with over 10 years of experience, emerging talents, and innovators.

Developed in collaboration with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and the Confartigianato association, the project seeks to give visibility to the artisanal sector and promote its preservation. The winners will receive a €10,000 prize, mentoring with Thélios experts, and media exposure.

Applications will be open until 31 May, and finalists will be evaluated by a jury including LVMH executives and industry experts. The awards will be presented in September during Milan Fashion Week.

According to Alexandre Boquel, Director of LVMH Métiers d’Excellence, the award not only supports artisans but also enables LVMH brands to expand their creativity through external talent, reaffirming their commitment to Made in Italy.
