Maison Margiela and Gentle Monster unveil their third and largest collaboration: 20 eyewear designs featuring cybercore aesthetics, metallic finishes, and avant-garde details.
Maison Margiela and Gentle Monster join forces once again for their most ambitious collaboration yet. In their third partnership, the French fashion house and the Korean eyewear brand present an exclusive collection of 20 eyewear designs, consisting of eight sunglasses and 12 optical frames.
This new line expands on their previous collaborations, which featured 11 and 17 models, respectively. Cybercore aesthetics take centre stage, combining metallic materials, cable-style temples, and Margiela’s iconic white stitches. The eyewear also stands out for its innovative temple-tip designs and is available in silver and green metallic finishes, as well as classic hues such as black, grey, navy, ivory, red, and tortoiseshell.
To celebrate the launch, exclusive pop-up stores will open in seven cities worldwide, designed with cybercore-inspired aesthetics. These temporary spaces will feature abstract forms, raw patterns, and translucent materials in perfect harmony. The exact locations of these ephemeral stores have yet to be announced.
The collection will be available online from 5 March via Gentle Monster and authorised retailers such as ‘HBX,’ arriving in physical stores on 6 March.
