Manu Ríos and Marc Forné mark Carrer’s second anniversary and share their plans for 2026 — from new product categories to a carefully paced global expansion.
As it completes its second orbit around the sun, Carrer reasserts its essence: timeless essentials with a workwear spirit, designed to endure and remain untouched by digital noise. That’s how its founders, actor Manu Ríos and stylist Marc Forné, described it in an interview with WWD, where they reflected on the brand’s evolution and strategic growth.
Despite boasting over 10 million followers between them, they emphasise that the project began on a personal note: “We wanted to wear what we designed, share it with our circle, and build from there,” Forné explained. Since its debut in 2023, Carrer has released five collections and secured 45 retail points across Europe and Asia, with the United States standing as its main online market.
This past weekend, they celebrated the anniversary with a pop-up in Madrid to unveil the FW25 collection, followed by a gathering with the local creative community. They also revealed that in January, Carrer will introduce shoes and bags in collaboration with a Spanish brand during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
Carrer’s CEO, Nerea Ayerza, confirmed that growth will remain measured: “We want to build a brand that doesn’t oversaturate. The product is at the heart of everything.” A vision that makes clear Carrer isn’t chasing trends — it’s here to stay.
