Megan Fox is reportedly relieved by Machine Gun Kelly’s romance with Dakota Johnson, with the actress said to have no intention of rekindling her relationship with the musician.
Megan Fox appears to have definitively moved on from her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly. The American actress is reportedly not only comfortable with her former fiancé dating Dakota Johnson, but also feels a sense of relief at seeing him move forward with his love life. According to a source close to the actress who spoke to Page Six, Fox has no intention of rekindling her romance with the musician.
“Megan is not only fine with MGK dating Dakota, but she’s relieved that he’s moving on,” the source told the American publication, adding that the actress genuinely hopes her former partner finds happiness with someone else.
The reports come after Machine Gun Kelly and Dakota Johnson sparked romance rumours in September, when they were spotted together in New York. The pair reportedly spent time at Taylor Swift’s apartment in Tribeca before heading out for dinner at Estela restaurant.
Since then, they have reportedly been seen together on several occasions in Los Angeles, although neither has publicly confirmed a romantic relationship.
According to the same source, one reason behind Megan Fox’s reported relief is connected to the singer’s behaviour following their separation.
Last March, Machine Gun Kelly attracted attention after leaving a flirtatious comment on one of the actress’s Instagram posts.
“Glad I have your phone number,” the musician wrote at the time, fuelling speculation about a possible reconciliation.
The couple, who began dating in 2020 and announced their engagement in 2022, separated towards the end of 2024, while Fox was pregnant with their first child together, Saga Blade, who was born in March 2025.
The former couple remain in contact as they co-parent their daughter, although the actress would reportedly prefer their relationship to remain focused exclusively on their parental responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson, who ended her relationship with Chris Martin in 2025, continues to be romantically linked to the musician.
Although Megan Fox has not personally confirmed these claims, reports published by Page Six and TMZ suggest that the actress is focused on her own life and has no objections to her former partner beginning a new relationship.
