Miley Cyrus will release ‘Bass Persuades’ on 18 September and celebrate her new musical era with two special concerts in Hollywood.
Miley Cyrus is already preparing the next chapter of her career. The singer has announced Bass Persuades, her tenth studio album, which will arrive on 18 September 2026 via Atlantic Records, accompanied by a new visual identity and her highly anticipated return to the stage.
The release will mark the beginning of an especially significant era for the Grammy-winning artist, who has also confirmed two concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on 16 and 18 October. The shows will be her major live appearances connected to the launch of the new project.
The aesthetic of Bass Persuades is already beginning to take shape through some of the creative collaborations chosen by the artist. Photographer Mert Alas has exclusively developed the album’s visual identity, while Alastair McKimm has worked closely with Cyrus on its creative direction.
This new era is also connected to the special edition of Wonderland guest-edited by the singer herself. Mario Sorrenti was responsible for the photography, while McKimm served as chief creative director, creating a visual bridge between the editorial project and the world surrounding the album.
Bass Persuades arrives after a career defined by Miley’s ability to continually reinvent herself. Across her previous releases, the singer has moved through pop, rock, country, soul and alternative music, refusing to be restricted to a single musical identity.
Her evolution has been accompanied by major industry recognition. In 2024, she won the Grammys for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Flowers’. A year later, she won again thanks to her collaboration with Beyoncé, taking home the award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
The singer is also entering this new chapter while keeping the legacy of her godmother, Dolly Parton, close to her heart. Parton was a hugely important figure in both her personal and professional life, and the pair shared numerous creative experiences over the years, including co-hosting Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, produced by Lorne Michaels.
Away from the recording studio, Cyrus has simultaneously strengthened her influence across fashion and beauty, collaborating with major brands including Gucci, Maison Margiela, Dolce & Gabbana and Maybelline.
