Gigi Hadid unveils ‘The Gigi Hadid Edit’ for Liu Jo, a personal selection of pieces defined by denim, urban silhouettes and Western-inspired details.

Gigi Hadid is once again bringing her personal style into the fashion world with ‘The Gigi Hadid Edit’, a new project with Liu Jo in which the model selects some of the Italian brand’s key pieces, bringing them together through her own interpretation of everyday dressing.

Denim serves as the starting point for a collection that explores the fabric far beyond the classic pair of jeans. Overshirts, bomber jackets and Napoleonic-inspired designs are combined in head-to-toe looks that play with relaxed proportions and a distinctly urban aesthetic.

The selection also incorporates more experimental treatments. Digital prints transform certain denim pieces into graphic statements, while embellishments and decorative details elevate an aesthetic that retains the effortless, lived-in feel running throughout the project.

The intention, however, is not to create a rigid uniform based on Hadid’s signature style. Liu Jo presents the collaboration as a meeting of two perspectives, with the model choosing the pieces that best reflect her natural, effortless approach to dressing.

“Every look tells a story, and every selection is a statement of identity,” Gigi explains of the project.

This personal universe also extends to the accessories. The collection includes leather cowboy boots featuring Western-inspired details and tonal stitching, a direct nod to the model’s well-known love of horses and the equestrian influences that have been part of her life for years.

The result is a selection designed to be reinterpreted rather than worn according to a fixed set of rules. The pieces work equally well as part of fully coordinated outfits or styled with more understated wardrobe essentials, allowing each person to adapt the collection to their own sense of style.

With this collection, Liu Jo places individuality at the heart of its new chapter. Denim establishes the collection’s visual foundation, but the real idea behind the project lies in how the same garment can take on an entirely different personality depending on who wears it and, above all, how they choose to make it their own.
