Miley Cyrus has now officially joined the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. The singer and actress received the 2,845th star on the celebrated boulevard during a ceremony held on Hollywood Boulevard, surrounded by family members, close friends and prominent figures from the entertainment industry.
During the event, the artist delivered an especially emotional speech reflecting on the meaning behind the recognition and the journey that brought her from her early days starring in ‘Hannah Montana’ to becoming one of the most influential pop artists of her generation.
“What feels so special to me about this star is that it’s an accumulation of devotion,” the Grammy Award-winning artist shared, making clear that she views the honour not as a trophy, but as the result of years of hard work, artistic growth and creative commitment. Cyrus also emphasised that such recognition is not something to chase or collect, but rather a natural consequence of a career shaped by consistency and passion.
Throughout her speech, Miley reflected on the future and the legacy she hopes to leave through her music and artistry. “After today, I commit to continuing the cycle of creation because that is what I truly live for,” she told attendees. The ceremony was attended by several of the people closest to the artist, including her mother Tish Cyrus, her sister Brandi Cyrus, and her fiancé, musician Maxx Morando, to whom Miley subtly referred while thanking her “future family” during the speech.
Among the guests were also Donatella Versace, who was responsible for the look chosen by Cyrus for the ceremony, and Anya Taylor-Joy. Meanwhile, Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, stated that Miley Cyrus “deserves her flowers” in recognition of the lasting impact she has had on the entertainment industry and for inspiring younger generations through fearless creativity and artistic reinvention.
