The prestigious Italian fashion house Fendi has appointed Mina, a member of the K-pop group TWICE, as its new ambassador in Japan.

Born in Hyogo, Japan, Mina debuted with TWICE in 2015 and is also part of the Japanese sub-unit MISAMO. Her relationship with Fendi grew stronger in 2024 when she attended the brand’s spring-summer haute couture show in Paris, garnering significant attention on social media.

As an ambassador, Mina introduced the new ‘Peekaboo Soft Small‘ bag, available from 9 January at select stores and on Fendi’s official website. She expressed her excitement at representing Fendi during its centenary, highlighting her admiration for the brand and her dedication to conveying its values and tradition.

Founded in Rome in 1925, Fendi is renowned for its craftsmanship, elegance, and innovation. Under the leadership of figures like Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi, the brand has maintained its status as one of the world’s top fashion houses. Now part of the LVMH group, Fendi continues to excel with its focus on creativity and quality.

Mina’s appointment as Fendi’s ambassador in Japan strengthens the connection between luxury fashion and K-pop stars, further solidifying their influence in the global industry.
