The Argentine singer takes a break from the ‘Grasa Tour’ to visit ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.
After releasing her new album ‘Grasa‘, Nathy Peluso announced her 2025 world tour, which will take her across the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom. Before continuing her performances in cities like Miami, Washington, and Los Angeles, Nathy had the chance to perform two tracks from her album, ‘CORLEONE‘ and ‘EL DÍA QUE PERDÍ MI JUVENTUD‘, alongside producer Blood Orange on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘.
‘Grasa‘ is an extraordinary album. The singer has chosen to create a 30-minute-long video that integrates all the music videos into one, rather than releasing separate videos for each song. “The magic lies in how theatrical it is. It’s almost all a single sequence shot, and everything happens in the same space, with the characters evolving… It’s a story,” she explains.
Regarding the name, the artist explained on ‘El Hormiguero‘ the reason behind calling the album ‘Grasa‘: “The word grasa has many interpretations and meanings, which is why I think it represents me. All of life’s pleasures have grease (grasa), and the ultimate goal was to find a word that reminds me of what this journey made me feel.”
Despite the tremendous success of the album, the Argentine singer faced criticism from fans for not including Spain or Argentina in the tour’s list of countries.
