Palace and Dr. Martens join forces to bring the iconic 1461 boot back to life, merging classic style with exclusive modern touches.

Palace has announced an exclusive collaboration with Dr. Martens, giving new life to the legendary 1461 boot. This model, originally debuted in 1960, is reimagined with Palace‘s irreverent and unique style, creating a collection of three boots that pay tribute to Dr. Martens‘ legacy. Each boot is made with vintage smooth leather, giving them a classic and sophisticated feel, and is available in three colours: black, cherry red, and ‘Woodland Camo’.

A distinctive feature of this collaboration is the BEN sole, which ensures comfort and durability, along with Dr. Martens‘ famous yellow stitching. Additionally, for the first time in the brand’s history, the heel loop replaces the classic ‘AirWair’ with the Palace logo, a customisation that marks the exclusive character of the collection.

To add a nostalgic touch, the boots feature a lace ornament shaped like a bottle cap, inspired by 1980s trends. This collaboration is celebrated with a short film starring figures like John Cooper Clarke and skaters Lucien Clarke and Charlie Birch.

The collection will be available on April 11th through Palace and Dr. Martens.
