Palace and Vans are back with another collaboration: the simply named Palace Vans Low.

This new silhouette literally combines two sneakers into one by merging elements from the iconic Half Cab and the Skate MC model, which is a cult favorite of Mike Carroll. The release is accompanied by two T-shirts and a special short film.

Available in black or white, the Palace Vans Low feature the perforated details from Carroll’s Skate MC, with branding and collar details taken from the Half Cab. They incorporate a blend of both models’ aesthetics in their overall shape and construction. A distinctive co-branded Half Cab-style logo appears on the lateral side of the collar, while separate Palace and Vans branding appears on the shoe’s tongue. The well-known red Vans logo on the heel is accompanied by a Palace logo. From a technological standpoint, the Palace Vans Low boast Vans Skateboarding’s top-notch technologies, such as impact-absorbing Popcush insoles, long-lasting Duracap layers, and grippy Sickstick outsoles.

The T-shirts are also available in black and white, featuring “Palace Low” printed in the center with the “Palace Vans 2023” logo below. Additionally, a short film titled “Internal Only” (clearly not just for “employees”) has been released to commemorate this new collaboration. The short film stars professional skaters from Palace and Vans, Rory Milanes and Danny Brady, who satirically guide “Vans employees” through the features of the Palace Vans Low. “If you’re watching this video, it’s because you work for Vans,” begins Milanes as he and Brady walk around an office, getting ready to explain the virtues of the “new Vans.” “It even has a bloody sock inside,” exclaims Brady. “You’re going to save a fortune on socks this year,” adds Milanes.

The Palace x Vans Palace Vans Low and corresponding T-shirts are expected to be released both in stores and online starting from June 23 at 11 a.m. EDT on the brand’s official website, and in Japan on June 24 at 11 a.m. JST on the Palace Japan web store.
