The event sees notable absences such as Loewe, Balenciaga, and Givenchy, among others.
This Tuesday, 21 January, marked the start of one of the most important events in men’s fashion: Paris Men’s Fashion Week. The fashion capital will host this event until Sunday, 26 January, showcasing new collections for the Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 season. This edition is particularly special as it coincides with two prestigious anniversaries: the 130th anniversary of Cristóbal Balenciaga’s birth and the 120th anniversary of Christian Dior’s birth.
This year, the fashion week features 68 participating brands. One of the most striking aspects of this edition is the number of prominent brands absent from the lineup. Prestigious names such as Loewe, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Saint Laurent, and Valentino will not participate this year. The most notable absence is Loewe, widely recognised for its highly successful men’s shows in recent years. However, the Spanish brand has announced that it will unveil its men’s and women’s collections during the women’s prêt-à-porter week in March.

On the other hand, regular participants such as Dior, Kenzo, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and Berluti will return for this edition. One of the most anticipated comebacks is Jacquemus. After several years away from such events, the brand returns with a collaboration with Apple, recording the show using the iPhone 16 Pro Max camera system.
This fashion week will also feature exciting debuts, including Peter Copping, former creative director of Nina Ricci and Oscar de la Renta, taking on the role of creative director at Lanvin. Additionally, the French brand Les Fleurs Studio, founded by Alicante-born designer María Bernad, will make its debut.
Following the men’s fashion week, the fashion calendar in Paris will continue. Starting next Monday, Haute Couture will take the spotlight, featuring names such as Spanish designer Juana Martín.
