Robert Pattinson becomes Jaeger-LeCoultre’s new global ambassador and will star in an upcoming campaign for the prestigious Swiss watchmaker.
Jaeger-LeCoultre has announced Robert Pattinson as its new global ambassador. The British actor is beginning a partnership with the historic Swiss manufacture that brings together two worlds that have developed increasingly close ties over the years: cinema and fine watchmaking.
Pattinson’s appointment comes at a particularly interesting point in his career. After becoming a global star, the actor has built a filmography defined by unpredictable choices, moving between major international productions, auteur-led projects and considerably more daring characters.

It is precisely this ability to move between different creative registers that Jaeger-LeCoultre has highlighted in announcing his appointment.
“The objects I find most fascinating are those with real depth. A great watch is not just about precision: it is about character, craftsmanship and the story behind how it is made,” Pattinson explains of his relationship with watchmaking.

The Maison believes that the actor’s curiosity, creative independence and constant pursuit of new challenges connect naturally with a philosophy based on combining traditional craftsmanship with technical innovation.
Jérôme Lambert, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, has described the actor as someone who possesses “a rare combination of artistic depth, curiosity and authenticity”, while also highlighting the independent spirit that has defined his career.
The appointment also strengthens Pattinson’s growing presence within the luxury world. Beyond his film projects, the British actor has become an increasingly familiar figure in contemporary menswear in recent years, with a personal style that frequently moves between classic codes and far less conventional choices.
The partnership will extend beyond the initial announcement. Robert Pattinson will star in a new Jaeger-LeCoultre campaign, scheduled to debut in mid-September, when we will see for the first time how the Maison translates this new partnership into images.
