Steven Knight confirms that the Peaky Blinders universe will continue beyond the movie, promising exciting new projects for fans.

The Shelby universe appears to have a promising future. Steven Knight, creator of the acclaimed seriesPeaky Blinders, has hinted that the franchise will not end with the highly anticipated feature film set to release next year. In a recent interview with Times Radio, Knight confirmed that although the movie is ready, his vision for the saga extends further.

Speaking with Jane Mulkerrins, the screenwriter revealed that production on the film wrapped up before the Christmas holidays, though an official release date has not yet been set. However, he hinted that it might arrive in roughly a year. Regarding the franchise’s future, Knight stated: “It won’t be the end, let me put it that way. I’m not saying there won’t be anything more.”

Although he avoided providing details about whether this will involve a new spin-off series or additional films, fans can expect the Peaky Blinders legacy to continue. The upcoming movie features Cillian Murphy reprising his iconic role as Tommy Shelby, joined by Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, and Stephen Graham.
