The 2025 Pirelli calendar, titled Refresh and Reveal, has unveiled this year’s 51st edition of the calendar directed by photographer Ethan James Green, who has assembled a diverse cast of personalities from film, fashion and culture. Among the featured figures are actor John Boyega, actress Hunter Schafer, and models Padma Lakshmi and Jenny Shimizu. This approach seeks to highlight a new vision of sensuality and identity through an aesthetic that celebrates authenticity and diversity, reflecting the changing standards of beauty and fashion today.
Green, who has previously worked with major fashion brands, poses in this project a “reinterpretation of beauty” that aligns with Pirelli’ s legacy by addressing deep cultural and aesthetic themes. The shoot took place in natural locations, especially on the beach, seeking an atmosphere of freedom and expression, something that, according to Green himself, breaks with the usual control of a photographic studio and creates an environment where the subjects can be shown in their most natural form.
